A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed they were called at 4.35pm to reports of a person being hit by a train at the station on Cranbrook Road.

BTP officers and members of the London Ambulance Service are currently on the scene.

Greater Anglia have confirmed that the lines into and out of London have now re-opened.
