Teenager in hospital with ‘life-changing’ injuries after stabbing in Woodford Green

A teenager has been left with “life-changing injuries” after a stabbing in Woodford Green.

The 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after an incident in Purleigh Avenue on Thursday September 14.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to the scene at around 10.05pm.

“He remains in hospital with serious leg injuries that may be life changing,” a Met Police spokesman said.

“Officers from the East Area Command Unit are investigating.”

There have been no arrests and inquires continue.
