Teenager, 17, arrested after fight breaks out on South Woodford tube platform

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a fight that broke out inside South Woodford tube station and left a man in need of hospital treatment.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to reports of a fight the tube platform at 8.04am on Tuesday (March 13).

Officers attended and one man was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

A teenager was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and causing grevious bodily harm.

Police enquires are ongoing.
