Spilled lorry load forces lane closure on A406 Barking flyover southbound

A lorry has spilled its load over a lane of the Barking A406 flyover.

Motorists have been warned to expect delays while the mess, which looks to be rubble, is cleared. Queues are currently stretching back beyond Redbridge, according to Transport for London.

The load has been spread over some ten car lengths, meaning it could be some time before both southbound carriages are reopened.
