An annual display of solidarity with our soldiers is taking place on Sunday.

Redbridge is set to mark Armed Forces Day, which recognises members of the armed forces, reserve forces and cadet forces as well as veterans.

A veterans’ parade, led by the Honourable Artillery Company Band, will begin at 10.45am in High Road, Ilford, and make its way towards Redbridge Town Hall.

An inspection by the mayor, Cllr Ashley Kissin, and speeches will follow.
