Have a go on an electric bicycle at Redbridge Cycling Centre this Sunday.

Between 12.30pm and 5.30pm an estimated 100 bikes will be free to test out.

Shop 50cycles is sending representatives, and electric bikes including the Focus Thron Premium, Sahel Compact and an assortment of Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 models will be on show.

At a fractious regulatory committee meeting last night, councillors granted planning permission for developers to build 214 flats on an Ilford shopping centre.
