Redbridge Council hosting activities for Dementia Awareness Week

To raise awareness of dementia and support sufferers and their families, Redbridge Council is hosting a number of events this week.

Tomorrow there will be activities and information sessions throughout the day at the Oaklea Lodge day Centre, in Goodmayes Lane, Goodmayes.

A walk in conjunction with Dementia Adventure will take place on Thursday. Participants need to meet at the Mansion Cafe in Valentines Park, at 11am.

Finally, on Friday there will be a drop-in for Asian carers and an information session from 11am to 1pm at the Mildmay locality base, at 69 Albert Road, Ilford.

The events are being held to mark Dementia Awareness Week.
