Police appealing for information after Seven Kings mugging

Redbridge Police are appealing for information after a man was mugged in Seven Kings.

The victim, 30, was walking along Haslemere Road on Monday around 9.20pm when he was approached by two men who demanded he hand over his bag.

They then fled with the black leather-look shoulder bag containing a Dell laptop and a book.

The first suspect is described as black, 25-35, 6ft 2ins and wearing a black hooded jacket.

He had a black goatee beard and spoke with an Afro Caribbean accent.

The second suspect was black, slim, 25-30, 6ft 2ins with short spiked black hair. He was wearing a green jacket.

Anyone with information should call the robbery squad at Ilford Police Station on 0208 345 2653.
