Police are trying to trace a man who left Goodmayes mental health hospital without permission.

Police have launched an appeal to try and trace a man who walked out of Goodmayes Hospital.

Misbah Hamid, 37, left the centre in Barley Lane and police have said that he should not be approached.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoody, green jacket, blue Puma jogging bottoms and black trainers.

A Redbridge police spokesman said “Misbah Hamid, 37, has absconded from Goodmayes Mental Health hospital.

“He should not be approached.

“He is medium build and balding. Last wearing grey hoody, green jacket, blue puma jogging bottoms and black trainers.”

Anyone who has seen Misbah has been asked to call 999 quoting 18MIS018854.
