A man who stood on a first floor ledge above a Seven Kings shop for six hours has been taken away by police.
The man appeared to have climbed out the window of a flat above the Lucky Star convenience store in Aldborough Road South.
An eyewitness described him as Asian and aged between 20 and 24.
Police officers arrived at the scene around 8.15am and put a cordon around the area.
Aldborough Road South was closed from Wards Road to Brook Road and other nearby roads were also cordoned off while police dealt with the incident.
The man was reportedly led from the Lucky Star shop, handcuffed, and put in a waiting police van around 2.15pm.
Police have not confirmed whether the man has been arrested or if he was armed.
All roads have now been re-opened.
