UPDATE: Man in critical condition after office assault in Hainault

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after an assault yesterday in an office in Hainault.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody in connection with the incident.

The air ambulance was called at 12.10pm to the Fencepiece Road, Hainault as well as a road ambulance and a single response unit.

It is thought the incident happened near to Co-op supermarket.

A London Ambulance spokesman said that their staff treated one man who was taken to hospital by road ambulance accompanied by an air ambulance doctor.

It is believe three police vans and four police cars were at the scene.
