Two men arrested over attempted robbery of security van in South Woodford

Two men were arrested this morning on suspicion of attempting to rob a security van in South Woodford.
Police were called to the scene outside the Waitrose store in High Road and apprehended the men at 7.48am.
No arms were seen or found at the scene, according to a police spokesman, and it is not believed anything had been taken from the cash transit van.
The police are not looking for any other suspects.
