Two days of voting left to hand Redbridge park national award

Residents have until tomorrow to vote for their favourite award-winning Redbridge park.

Valentines Park, South Park, St Chad’s Park, Elmhurst Gardens, Goodmayes Park and the Ilford War Memorial Gardens are some of the Green Flag spaces up for the People’s Choice Award.

The annual online vote is seeing 1,424 parks and green spaces flying the Green Flag Award across the UK vying to be named the site of the year.

The criteria each site is judged on are grouped under eight main headings including: healthy, safe and secure; conservation and heritage and community involvement.

Vote for the People’s Choice Award at www.greenflagaward.org.uk.
