A South Woodford firm of solicitors has raised more than £7,300 for a range of charities by writing wills for free.

Laderman & Co in George Lane wrote around 100 wills and asked clients to make a donation to Will Aid rather than pay its normal fees.

The money raised is shared between ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund, Sightsavers and Trocaire.

The firm took part in November and was visited earlier this month by Liz Pearman, a legacy executive at Save the Children, to thank its solicitors for their contribution.
