A documentary exploring the cultural aspects of the Olympics has had its premier at City Hall.

The film called What’s in it for Us? was made by 17 students from Redbridge College, Barley Lane, Little Heath exploring the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

In the documentary students visit the headquarters of some of the UK’s most influential organisations including the Arts Council England and Cocoa Cola.

They were finding out about the cultural celebrations taking place nationwide to celebrate this year’s Games. They also had the opportunity to interview senior executives within the London 2012 cultural partners.

After the premier students Jade Williams, 17, Jordan Browne, 20, and John Fawsitt, 19, participated in a question and answer session.

Jade said: “My eyes have been opened to the fantastic facilities across London and I hope that the legacy of the Cultural Olympiad continues long after London 2012.”
