Police called after injured man in Ilford dies

A man in his 50s from Ilford was confirmed dead late yesterday afternoon.
The ambulance service called the police at about 5pm after a man was injured at a flat in Rowan Close.
He was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford where we was confirmed dead shortly afterwards.
There will be a post-mortem in due course and his death is being treated as unexplained.
