Olympic-themed roadshow coming to Redbridge

Sports taster sessions and visits from the stars of the summer Games are both on the cards as an Olympic-themed roadshow makes its first Redbridge stop on Saturday.
From June to September, the Inspiration Roadshow will travel across the borough and touch down in a number of different venues beginning with Barkingside Recreation Ground, Mossford Green, Barkingside from noon-4pm.
Residents will have the chance to witness a variety of performances as well as get the chance to try out a host of sports and disciplines.
An inspiration decathlon will also let participants have the chance to scoop bronze, silver and gold in 10 different challenges from hula hooping to impersonating Olympic stars.
The roadshow hits Manford Way, Hainault on Saturday, June 23 before stopping in areas such as Woodford Green, Chadwell Heath and finally reaching High Street, Wanstead on Sunday, August 12.
