Newbury Park Bollywood dance school awards six scholarships

Scholarships have been awarded to four talented dancers and two trainee teachers at a Bollywood dance school, who were chosen from more than 300 applicants.

HDA Bollywood Performing Arts Academy, Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park chose Twinkle Jaiswal, six, Shreena Makwana, seven, Rahul Velani, 14, and Kareena Mira Lawson, 16, to receive free training which will commence in January.

Kishore Kumar and Shruti Limaye were awarded the teaching scholarships.

“The scholarship auditions were extremely competitive with a range of applicants of all ages showcasing their talent. It was a difficult decision but we are pleased with the students we have chosen,” said founder, Honey Kalaria.
