Man charged with murder after 2005 Gants Hill stabbing

A 42-year-old has been charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed seven years ago in Gants Hill.

Robert Darby died on August 25, 2005 of a stab wound to the chest, a day after police were called to Perth Road to reports of an injured man.

It is believed Mr Darby, 42, had been driving through the area on the day of the stabbing.

Tomorrow, Jason Moore, of no fixed abode, will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of Mr Darby, of Bying Street, Tower Hamlets.
