Man charged with 2005 Gants Hill murder set for Old Bailey hearing

A man charged with a 2005 murder in Gants Hill will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday
Jason Moore, 42, of no fixed abode, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with the murder of Robery Darby.
Mr Darby, 42, died of a stab wound to the chest on August 25, 2005, a day after police were called to Perth Road to reports of an injured man.
It is believed Mr Darby, of Bying Street, Tower Hamlets, had been driving through the area on the day of the stabbing.
Moore was remanded in custody during the hearing in Barkingside and will appear again in court next week.
