A teenager from Ilford has been shortlisted for a national beauty pageant award.
Lauren Peters is hoping to get through to the final stages of the Miss England competition.
After impressing judges with her rendition of Maroon 5’s Sunday Morning she is also now in the running for the Miss England’s Got Talent Award.
The decision will be made tomorrow and if she wins it will ensure her a place in the final 15 women.
The final will be held on Tuesday.
