A Sue Ryder charity shop in Green Lane, Goodmayes, is hoping to benefit from a silent auction of a large dolls’ house.

The shop is selling the new piece because it has slight damage to two hinges, and is hoping to attract bids of £200 or more.

Manager Claire Crane said: “It’s massive. It’s got a basement and three storeys.”

The house is 35ins wide, by 36 ins high and 20ins deep. Potential buyers can view it and put in a silent bid at the shop. The auction closes on March 23, after which the highest bidder will be notified.

Sue Ryder provides care to people with end of life and long term health needs.
