Girl, 12, hit by bus in Chadwell Heath ‘not seriously injured’

A girl hit by a bus in Chadwell Heath on Monday was not seriously injured, according to police.

The London Ambulance Service initially reported that a boy was injured in the accident near the junction of Grove Road and Westfield Gardens on Monday, but police have since released more details.

Paramedics were called at 4.15pm to reports of an accident involving a pedestrian.

The 12-year-old girl was treated at the scene and taken to Queen’s Hospital in Romford.

Traffic in Grove Road was diverted while emergency services dealt with the incident.
