The Woodford Town Football Club site in Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green will be advertised for companies to bid on.

If no suitable offer is received, then the area could be turned into a park or recreation area.

Liberal Democrat leader Cllr Ian Bond (Roding) said during Tuesday’s cabinet meeting in Redbridge Town Hall, High Road, Ilford: “It will bring back the site for the pleasure of people in the borough.”
