Family and police search for Woodford Green man Felix Marr missing in northern Italy

A Woodford Green man has been missing since Friday after setting out to hike on a mountain in northern Italy.
The family of Felix Marr, 64, has issued an urgent online statement calling for help in establishing his whereabouts.
The father is believed to have gone hiking on La Rocca, a mountain in Lake Garda in Verona.
Police have traced his last text message to that area and sniffer dogs have been used to try and locate him. On Saturday, around 50 volunteers helped to look for Mr Marr on the mountain and family members have flown out to join in the search.

A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesman said: “We are aware of a British national missing in the area of Lake Garda in Italy and we are providing consular assistance to the family.”
