Faith Forum’s plea for people to reach for their running shoes

An appeal for people who want get fit as part of their New Year’s resolutions is being made by an interfaith organisation.

Redbridge Faith Forum wants people to sign up for the free Faith, Health and Wellbeing runs taking place each week in Valentines Park, Cranbrook Road, Ilford.

Organisers say it is an opportunity to meet new friends as well as getting fit.

The runs take place each Saturday at 8.45am and involve a 5km circuit of the park. They are suitable for all levels of fitness and all age groups.

You can register and track your progress at www.parkrun.org.uk.
