A woman has reportedly been hit by a motorbike on a road in Gants Hill.

Six ambulances and the air ambulance are currently at the scene in Eastern Avenue.

The woman is being taken by the air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.

It is believe she was hit at about 10.30am.

A worker at the Loft Shop in Eastern Avenue said the accident had caused long tailbacks including the annual taxi convoy to South End for underprivileged children.
