Dead Ilford man named

The man from Ilford who died on Thursday afternoon has been identified as 53-year-old Colin Sains.
Ambulance crews were called to Mr Sains’ flat in Rowan Close, Ilford at about 5pm.
The police were called and Mr Sains was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford where he was confirmed dead shortly afterwards.
A post-mortem was carried out on the same day but was inconclusive and further tests have been ordered.
His death is being treated as unexplained and next of kin have been informed.
