Mishal Husain and pupils who she told homework and being prepared were vital
BBC newsreader Mishal Husain visits Ilford’s Isaac Newton Academy to offer career advice

A BBC news presenter and journalist was grilled by Ilford students about her career and she offered advice on how best to achieve your dreams.
Mishal Husain visited Isaac Newton Academy, Cricklefield Place, Ilford, on Thursday, to offer advice to students on their own careers.
She spoke about the importance of homework and being prepared for all sorts of situations.
Year 7 pupil Yusra Kilic said: “After her phenomenal speech, she answered students’ questions. One question was about what it was like to report from outside the house where Osama Bin Laden was killed.
“Mishal is a very inspirational person and everyone enjoyed her visit.”
Pupil Harry Taak added: “Mishal told us stories and gave us a lovely speech about her first dream to be a doctor.
“After thinking hard, she pursued journalism. She sent letters to news companies and was very resilient. Because of this she has visited many countries including Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Bahrain.”
