Five kittens and two cats which were abandoned outside an animal charity are looking for a new home.
Jim O’Halloran, of Goodmayes, is looking after the cats which were dumped outside the Celia Hammond Animal Trust (CHATS) in Newham until a new home is found.
Mr O’Halloran said: “Celia Hammond, like all other animal charities, is overwhelmed by the number of cats and dogs being abandoned by their owners, particularly when they are not neutered and start breeding.”
He said the kittens are about 12 weeks old and one of the cats is pregnant again.
“The mums and kittens were all immediately neutered and vaccinated with the cost being born by the already overstretched finances of CHATS,” he added.
