Man pleads guilty to attempting to steal from Wanstead supermarket

A man has pleaded guilty to attempting to steal from a supermarket.

William Webb, 33, of no fixed abode, admitted the offence at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on May 8.

He had attempted to gain access to the Tesco Express store in High Street, Wanstead.

He has been committed for sentencing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 29.
