These congregation members are enjoying a fundraising buffet lunch on Sunday courtesy of St Peter’s Church in Aldborough Hatch.

Some came with their partners, while for others it was an opportunity to get out of their houses and socialise, according to Shirley Rudge, a member of the church council.

She said: “The lunch was a real success which enabled a number of single people to join with others and have lunch - something they rarely have the opportunity to do.”

More than £250 was raised for St Peter’s from the church’s annual summer lunch.
