Local Elections 2014: Labour win five seats in Valentines and Wanstead

Labour have made good gains in Valentines and Wanstead.

In Valentines they made a clean sweep, with Khayer Chowdhury receiving 1,820, Ross Hatfull 1,822 and Farah Hussain 1,760.

In Wanstead, Sheila Bain received 1,964 and Paul Merry 1,739. However, the Conservatives clinched the last seat, with current Wanstead councilor Michelle Dunn polling 1,692.
