All three Conservative candidates kept their Bridge ward seats to easily overcome the threat of a Ukip challenge in the area.

Paul Canal secured 1,233 votes, John Fairley-Churchill earned 1,119 votes and Robin Andrew-Turbefield collected 1,069 votes.

There were three Ukip candidates vying to be elected but none threatened the Tory triumvirate.
