Independent candidate Filly Maravala lost his Loxford seat as three Labour candidates usurped him.

The Loxford result sees Labour earn three more seats to take their tally to nine for the night so far with 18 ward results still to be announced.

The three Labour candidates Mohammad Ahmed earned the most votes with 2,472, while Shakil Warraich Ahmad gained 2,453 votes and Taifur Rashid got 2,278.
