An Ilford dance troupe are set to entertain audiences with performances of the greatest hits of an award-winning Broadway composer.

Palmerstone Stage School will be performing musical Jerry’s Girls at the Kenneth More Theatre, in Oakfield Road, Ilford, from Thursday, July 19.

The show celebrates the larger than life female characters who inhabit the musicals written by Jerry Herman.

Vicki Palmer and Loraine Porter, principals of the school, said: “This is such an exciting opportunity for the school to perform its biggest full scale musical ever and it showcases the talents of our pupils perfectly.

“All those involved are so looking forward to what promises to be an amazing show.”

The show runs until Saturday, July 21 and tickets are £16.
