Jane Austen subject of Ilford Historical Society talk

Jane Austen fans are cordially invited to a talk marking the 200th anniversary of her famous novel Pride and Prejudice.

Austen expert Maureen Stiller, secretary of The Jane Austen Society, will be giving a talk on the book, the author’s life and the Regency period.

The talk will be on at 7.30pm on January 14 at the Ilford Hospital Chapel, Ilford Hill, Ilford. Visitors £2.

The Ilford Historical Society holds meetings, talks and events on the history of Redbridge and beyond.
