Pupils at Cranbrook Primary School, in The Drive, Ilford, were treated to a special talk from Kids Run Free, a charity which encourages children to live a healthy lifestyle.

Teacher Michael Randolph, who has been at the school for three years, told the Recorder all the pupils had really enjoyed the event.

“They’re actually going to run the full length of a marathon in their PE lessons this term, so it’s great that they got a presentation about the importance of running and keeping healthy,” he said.
