Ilford Hospital Chapel, in Ilford Hill, wishes any surviving relatives of those who died in the First World War who are remembered on its memorials to contact the church.

Relatives are invited to come to the Chapel in Ilford on June 14 - the church’s Open Day - to see the memorials and place a poppy from 10am.

Artistes from the Kenneth More Theatre will also perform a free concert called “Keep the home fires burning”, consisting of music from the era, at 3pm.
