Redbridge police will be encouraging people to report hate crimes as part of a special week aiming to raise awareness about hate crimes.
The police team will also be explaining the various agencies they work with and what help is available if you are a victim of a hate crime.
There will be a stall outside the former Harrison Gibson shop in High Road, Ilford from 11am-2pm tomorrow.
The 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign 2012 started on Saturday and will end on Friday.
In 1999 three nail bombs were planted in Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho on April 17, 24 and 30 respectively aiming to terrorise black, Asian and gay communities.
The week leads up to the London Hate Crime Vigil which takes place on Saturday in Trafalgar Square.
