Gants Hill tube station has been closed and New North Road shut in both directions due to flooding this afternoon.

@TfLTravelAlerts tweeted earlier that the station was closed following a period of heavy rain.

Tickets are being accepted on local buses.

New North Road has also been closed in both directions at Hainault Station due to flooding under the railway bridge.

@TfLBusAlerts tweeted that routes 150 and 247 are subject to delays and diversion.
