A flood alert for the River Roding, which runs through Redbridge, has been issued yet again.
Due to rain overnight and this morning, a warning has been put in place for the Middle River Roding, with the area stretching from Ray Park, Woodford Green, to Abridge at risk.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency said lower-lying land, roads and gardens next to this part of the river are likely to be affected and there may also be surface water flooding in some locations.
The agency will issue a further update this evening.
There have been a number of alerts relating to the river over the last few months. Since Christmas, there have been three warnings issued for the Lower River Roding, which runs through Woodford, Wanstead, Ilford and East Ham.
