With town centre regeneration, chicken shops and 24 hour gyms there is only one Ilford- Or is there?

A place in New South Wales, Australia is actually named after the Ilford in Redbridge and there is a Indian settlement in Canada with the same spelling.

The location in Australia was bestowed its name after the founders of the town emigrated from Redbridge in the 19th century.

According to the 1875 census the New South Wales town has a population of 100, which grew to 306 by 2011.

Ilford Public School serves children in the area and the Astronomical Society of New South Wales runs a dark-sky observing site nearby.

Ilford in Manitoba Canada has a population of 43, according to the 2011 census.

All of the 11 homes in the area are private dwellings.

It does however have an airport and a railway station.
