Annabel Karmel MBE is bringing a wealth of expertise and cooking know-how to Treehouse Nursery School, Woodbine Place.

A spokeswoman for the school said: “We know how important it is for babies and children to stay fuelled on the right foods whilst in our care.

“We also recognise the importance of introducing a diverse range of delicious flavours to encourage good, healthy eating habits for
the future.

“That is why we have partnered with the UK’s number one parenting author, who has 43 cookbooks to her name.”

Recognised all over the world for devising delicious, nutritious meals for babies and children, Annabel is working closely with the nursery chef to ensure mealtimes become a memorable, much-loved part of the day for their under-fives.

The new menu options pack in “plenty of goodness” but are
tasty too.

Treehouse Nursery School said the meals are anything but bland and it has worked with Annabel to cook-up a variety of appetizing meal ideas that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy.

“From weaning, through to children with specific dietary requirements, the menu will enable children to experience everything from timeless favourites to yummy hidden veggie dishes and recipes that take a cue from a world of flavours,” the spokeswoman added.

Parents went down to the nursery to sample the new recipes on Wednesday, September 27, and children helped to cook chocolate brownies.

Annabel said it was fantastic to see both parents and children enjoying the new menu.

“It’s so important that the nursery’s babies and children are fuelled on the right foods, so I’ve looked to create a wholesome, healthy food offering which is packed full of flavour,” she said.

“Eating habits and tastes are formed from an early age, so it is incredibly important to introduce a good variety of foods at the earliest possible opportunity, and it is fantastic that Treehouse Nursery School shares my
vision to ensure every child
gets the nutrients they need
for their development and long-term health.”
