Delays expected on A12 in Wanstead as police respond to crash

Drivers have been warned to expect delays on the A12 eastbound in Wanstead tonight while emergency services respond to a car crash involving a motorcyclist just before Redbridge Roundabout.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman confirmed officers were called to the A12 at 4.27pm today (January 10) , to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Polo.

There are no reports of any injuries, but Transport for London has advised drivers to expect delays between the George Green tunnel and Redbridge Roundabout while police respond to the incident.

The organisation tweeted: “A12 Eastern Avenue between George Green Tunnel & Redbridge Roundabout - lane 3 blocked eastbound due to a collision. Police on scene. Expect delays.”
