Police are searching for a Woodford Green man who they want to put back in prison.

Thomas Evans, 29, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison in September 2010 after being convicted for theft and attempted theft from cash machines across the country.

He was part of a gang who stole an estimated £500,000 from ATMs at train stations from Southampton to Weybridge in Surrey and the New Forest.

He was released on license in April this year but is now wanted on recall to prison after failing to comply with he conditions of his release.

His last known address was Chingford Lane, Woodford Green, but he is known to frequent Walthamstow and Chingford.

Evans is described as white and approximately 6ft tall.
