Heating defect forces Barkingside school to close

A Barkingside primary school has been forced to close today because of “defective heating”.

Parents of children at Fullwood Primary, Burford Close, have been sent a text message telling them of the closure.

The school was one of about 33 that made the decision to close a week ago because of the heavy snow.

It is not known whether Fullwood will be back open to pupils and teachers tomorrow.
