Residents living near Barkingside can have their say on the latest proposals for the area’s regeneration project at a meeting on November 29.

To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

Residents and local businesses are invited to the meeting at Fullwell Cross Library, High Street, Barkingside from 7.30pm.

They will have the chance to give their views on more detailed proposals which have been developed following an initial public meeting.

The Better Barkingside project, part-funded by the Mayor of London, will see major changes to the high street including a new town square and improvements to lighting, street furniture, planting and parking.

The building works are expected to begin in Spring 2013 and be completed by the end of March 2014.

For more information visit www.redbridge.gov.uk/betterbarkingside.

If you’d like to suggest ideas for the project, please email nigel.burch@redbridge.gov.uk by December 31.
