The pedestrian subway leading from Cineworld to Albert Road in Ilford which has seen a rise in crime


Four youths aged between 12 and 16 years old were arrested are under police investigation in connection with two cases of theft and robbery on Friday night.

The incidents took place in Ilford town centre in the underpass on Mildmay Road near Cineworld Ilford.

The suspects are a mix of male and female.

Police are also investing a further crime on the same evening where no arrests had yet been made.

Any witnesses to these crimes are advised to contact the police.
