A congregation of 80 attended the Easter Sunday service at Barkingside Methodist Church.

The Rev Jan Atkins delivered her Easter message and the congregation sang Easter hymns.

Children who attended were given real Easter eggs with a booklet about the Easter story.

Following the holy communion people were invited to place flowers in a cross which was later placed outside the church, in Fremantle Road, Ilford.
